Did you know that Native American Families spend up to 70% of their total income just to heat their homes during the winter months? And heating options are few: expensive electricity, polluting propane, or firewood from the few trees that remain. The weather is cold and harsh in this part of the country leaving some of the poorest communities in this nation struggling to keep warm.
